New album in 2011
Pre-production is currently underway for the bands 5th album which we hope to finish after the summer and release early 2011. Band members Michiel Hollanders and Dan Tuffy are currently mixing Parne Gadjes new album and have also been hired in to produce an album for Dutch singer/songwriter Jeroen Kant at the end of August, so there has been plenty to keep us occupied. We believe in spreading our wings. Big Low only benefits from all these external activities

Welcome back show in hometown sells out!
When we got back from our Australian festival tour early April we did a homecoming show at Theatre De Wilde Wereld in Wageningen. It sold out completely! It was double gig with label mate Davie Lawson sharing the bill, and it was very heartwarming to see that some people had travelled over 200kms from as far away as Zeeland, Germany, Rotterdam and Groningen to catch us in Wageningen. Thanx everyone. We appreciate it.

Succesful Australian Tour March 2010
We played the Apollo Bay Music Festival, the Yackandandah Folk Festival as well as the legendary Northcote Social Club in Melbourne, the Karova in Ballarat - there were a few more shows of course - I cant remember what. Whatever, it was a blast! We ran out of merchandise completely and played some amazing gigs, particularly at the festivals. The biggest compliment you can get aint from reviews or articles or radio or tv appearences - one fan after the last show at Yackandandah in the big tent "that was amazing...you had my entire family in tears!" I told her "we make people cry for a living"
Obviously, its time for a groove based record - but we're gunna keep it emotional
